Help us build a safe, joyful, and vibrant celebration for over 15,000 parade-goers in Te Whanganui-a-Tara.

The Wellington Pride Parade is one of our city's most iconic events, bringing our Rainbow communities together for an unforgettable evening. None of it happens without our volunteers. Last year, a team of 60+ crew members kept our community safe, energised and connected.

Whether you want to be on the front lines of the procession or behind the scenes, there is a place for you.

Make an impact: Directly support and protect Rainbow visibility in Wellington.

‍Find your crew: Meet incredible, like-minded people from across the community.

‍Get fully prepared: Every volunteer receives a full written and oral briefing so you'll feel completely confident and know exactly what to do.

‍Shift availability: We are primarily looking for volunteers between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM / 8:00 PM on Parade Day, as well as helpers before that for setup and after for pack down.
