Parade Updates
The Wellington Pride Parade's kaupapa is about celebrating Wellington and the amazing Rainbow and Takatāpui people we have living, working and playing here. A core part of our work, when planning our events, is to work with the community and engage with them. We have also engaged InsideOUT to help us with community engagement and to assist with the development of our policies.
InsideOUT Kōaro is one of Wellington’s leading Rainbow and Takatāpui support and advocacy groups. As a national charity providing education, resources, consultation and support for anything concerning rainbow and takatāpui communities, they offer guidance, professional development and workshops for schools, workplaces and community organisations across Aotearoa.
We are very thankful to Rosie and the team from InsideOUT for their support and look forward to continuing our relationship with them.
